Wired doorbells, cameras on real power, switches that need a neutral wire. The hardwired part done right, and the app paired before we leave.
Most smart home devices fail at the wiring, not the app: a smart doorbell needs a 16 to 24 volt transformer with enough capacity, a smart switch needs a neutral wire in the box, and a camera or floodlight needs a proper outdoor box on a protected circuit. A licensed electrician installs the device, upgrades the transformer or adds the neutral where needed, and pairs it to your phone — about an hour per device.
Repairs: King and Pierce County south of I-90. Installations: greater Puget Sound.

Working on your phone before we go
The transformer is too small. Most 1990s doorbells run a 10 VA transformer; a video doorbell wants 30 VA. We swap it.
Older homes ran the switch loop without one. We pull a neutral or fit a switch designed to work without it.
Dimmer and bulbs do not match. We fit a dimmer rated for your bulbs or change the bulbs.
Not safe and not weather-rated. We give it an outdoor-rated box and a GFCI-protected circuit.
Smart 3-way needs a matching companion switch and the right wire in each box. We sort out which box has the line.
Aluminum wiring and two-wire switch loops. Both are workable, both need an electrician rather than a kit.
Prices are for installation; you buy the device you want, or we can supply it.

Repaired, tested under load, permit pulled where required, area cleaned. Most jobs done in one visit.
A dead outlet gets the same licensed electrician and the same code as a panel upgrade. Bad connections are how house fires start.

Anything off, we make it right. We answer 24/7 and real emergencies go first.
Yes. Bring whatever you chose. If it needs more transformer, a neutral wire or an outdoor box, we tell you before we start.
Yes. Either we pull a neutral from the nearest source, or we fit one of the smart switches designed to work without a neutral. The second is cheaper; the first is better for multi-gang boxes.
We pair the device to your phone and show it working before we leave. Account setup on your side takes a couple of minutes; the wiring is the part people get stuck on.
We can extend a circuit to an outdoor box or install a new outdoor outlet on a GFCI-protected circuit. It costs more than a battery camera and you never climb a ladder to charge it.
Swapping a switch, dimmer or doorbell does not. Adding a new outdoor circuit or outlet for a camera does, and we include it.
